Murray’s Beeswax | A Review

Pure Australian Beeswax

Mustache wax. It’s quite the dapper product for today’s hipster. And whether you’re a Calvinist or not, you’re sure to have some sophistication in your life when you’ve come across the right wax for you!

Sometime ago, I ran out of my preferred mustache wax. In looking for something comparable that I didn’t have to order online, I came across this wax. While standing in the aisle considering whether or not to buy this product, I came across a list of preferred waxes for one’s stache. Murray’s made the cut citing it’s great scent and speciality for sealing ends.

Murray's Wax in ActionPerhaps it might be the thin nature of my hair; however, in all honesty, Murray’s hold wasn’t cutting it for me.  While my ends in the picture turned out well, they didn’t last very long. One would have to apply excessively often to make this wax work as a traditional mustache wax. On the other hand, I did read that this wax works well for sealing dreads; which would make sense because of their thickness.

What I did LOVE, was how it conditioned my hair, the refreshing scent it left, and that it did not dry out and leave wax crumbles.  Overall, I find it GREAT for hair health, and combined with a more substantial wax, it’d have a great effect. On its own though, it’s just not that practical.
